UDA Party Candidate for Nairobi City County Governor Mr. Sakaja Johnson Arthur addressed the media late Wednesday night at Milimani High Court. Mr Sakaja had just witnessed the conclusion of a hearing of a case at the that sits in Community area of Nairobi City, in which he successfully fought a state agent’s challenge on the validity of his university degree, when the Commission for University Education (CUE), earlier Wednesday, revoked recognition of Sakaja’s degree through a letter addressed to the Nairobi Senator. It was victory for Sakaja, that evening, as the High court following Judicial review, suspended CUE’s decision to revoke recognition of Sakaja’s degree. Further, the court directed CUE to maintain the validity of Sakaja’s degree pending further direction by the court. On its part, IEBC disputes and the Resolution committee had earlier also dismissed the CUE revocation letter, going on to expunge from its record CUE’s letter.

Dear Mr President,
Sakaja to Uhuru: We will not be cowed by the threats, coercion and intimidation
I will be on the Ballot on 9th Aug 2022. We will not be cowed by the threats, coercion and intimidation by President Uhuru Kenyatta and the State. The purported revocation by CUE is null and void for the reasons below:- pic.twitter.com/zHtab5VtnA
