The Amani National Leader and nominee for Presidency under the party ticket Monday afternoon released a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta\’s Jubilee government for \”violating the independence and integrity of Parliament\” following the arrest of Senators Cleophas Malala (Kakamega), Steve Lelegwe (Samburu) and Christopher Langat (Bomet); ahead of a crucial vote on the revenue allocation bill.

This happened as the special sitting that was convened to debate the controversial third basis formula for revenue sharing allocation to counties was adjourned, Monday afternoon by Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka.
