Index data and scores
The Mulembe Nation indices are proprietary analytical outputs of Eastview Holdings Limited. Index data may be used for personal research, journalism, and non-commercial academic purposes with attribution. Commercial use requires a data licensing agreement. Index scores are analytical outputs, not financial or legal advice. Eastview Holdings Limited accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of index scores.

Data and knowledge submissions
When you submit data, documents, linguistic material, genealogical records, or other content to Mulembe Nation, you grant Eastview Holdings Limited a non-exclusive licence to use, publish, and incorporate that submission into our indices and editorial content, subject to the following: you retain ownership of your submission; we will credit you unless you request anonymity; we will not publish your identity without your consent; we will not commercially licence community-contributed cultural or traditional knowledge without your specific documented consent; you may withdraw a submission at any time before publication.
Submissions of traditional knowledge and cultural heritage are additionally governed by the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Whistleblower submissions
Documents submitted to lab@mulembenation.co.ke for investigative purposes are handled under strict source protection protocols. We do not disclose the identity of whistleblower sources. We advise anyone considering a sensitive submission to seek independent legal advice first.
Comments and user content
Comments are moderated. We remove comments that are defamatory, abusive, constitute harassment, contain personal identifying information about third parties, or are clearly spam. We are not liable for unmoderated comment content.
Accuracy and liability
We make every effort to ensure accuracy. We do not warrant that the site is error-free. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on content published on the site, including index scores, governance assessments, or place data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
Changes

Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, intellectual-property rights in material published on Mulembe Nation are held by Eastview Holdings Limited, the relevant author or creator, or another applicable rights holder, depending on the work. Material not owned by Eastview Holdings Limited is published under licence, permission or other lawful authority.
The Mulembe Nation name, site presentation, original editorial material, data products, methodologies, visualisations, software, databases and other protected material may be subject to copyright, trade mark, database, contractual or other rights. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to a user.
You may quote and link to Mulembe Nation material for lawful purposes with appropriate attribution. Republishing substantial portions, reproducing proprietary datasets or methodologies, scraping protected material at scale, or commercially reusing material may require prior written permission or a separate licence.
