Kenya Kwanza Alliance (KKA) became the ruling coalition that formed government following election of President Dr. William Samoei Ruto as Kenya’s fifth president in Kenya’s 9th August 2022 General Elections. In a notice dated Sunday, June 5 2022, the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) in accordance with the Political Parties Act of 2011 listed the bonafide members of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance (KKA) as:
- United Democratic Alliance (UDA), the party that sponsored President William Samoei Ruto,
- Amani National Congress (ANC) led by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi
- Ford Kenya headed by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.
- Chama Cha Kazi headed by Moses Kuria,
- Communist Party of Kenya (CPK),
- Devolution Party of Kenya (DPK),
- Economic Freedom Party (EFP),
- The Farmers Party (FP),
- The Service Party (TSP) headed by Mwangi Kiunjuri, Member of Parliament representing Laikipia East Constituency.
- Tujibebe Wakenya Party (Jibebe) led by 1st governor of Kiambu County William Kabogo Gitau
- Umoja na Maendeleo Party (UMP).
