This policy explains how Mulembe Nation separates commercial activity from editorial judgment.
Editorial independence
Advertising, sponsorship, donations, affiliate relationships, licensing and other commercial services do not buy favourable coverage, prevent warranted criticism or alter correction decisions.
Editorial decisions remain the responsibility of Mulembe Nation and its Founder & Editor.
Advertising status
Advertising is currently disabled on the site while the restored publication undergoes final quality and privacy review. When advertising is enabled, this page and the Privacy and Cookie policies will be updated where necessary to reflect the technologies and providers actually in use.
Labelling commercial material
Paid, sponsored, affiliate or partner-supported material must be clearly labelled and visually distinguishable from independent editorial content. Where material, the identity of the commercial partner and the nature of the relationship are disclosed.

What commercial partners cannot control
Advertisers and commercial partners cannot require Mulembe Nation to suppress accurate reporting, soften warranted criticism, adopt a particular editorial position or prevent a justified correction.
They do not receive advance approval rights over unrelated independent editorial content.
Recommendations, reviews and links
Payment, gifts, access, affiliate arrangements or services do not convert a commercial relationship into an independent recommendation. Material conflicts of interest should be disclosed where relevant.
Advertising technology and privacy
No advertising system should receive directly identifying, restricted or sensitive information merely because a reader visits Mulembe Nation. Where third-party advertising or measurement technology is introduced, the relevant provider, data practice and available user choices will be described in our Privacy and Cookie policies.
Placement and page quality
Advertising must not imitate navigation, obscure editorial content, interfere with corrections or privacy information, encourage accidental interaction or overwhelm the main purpose of a page.
Thin, private, disputed or immature records do not become publishable simply to create advertising inventory.
Research, licensing and other commercial work
Commissioned research, data licensing and other commercial services require clear scope and appropriate disclosure. Commercial relationships do not override our editorial, data-governance or correction standards.
